great, but it seems to have some problems...

this is the best tutorial i have seen in a while. it's been pretty nifty and right now i'm using it to make my first game. however, i've been having a couple problems. the most frustrating right now have to do with the health bar and the score box. i have tried to follow the instructions precisely, and when that didn't work i tried to tinker with little things to fix it myself. failing that, i tried to download the file examples to see what i was missing. however, they dont seem to download when i click on them. i think that should be fixed.

right. kay.

but you can always just right-click below the flash, select View Page Info, go to the Media tab, and get the .swf from there. it's easier that way.

this is perfectly done. fast, spastic, a great time-waster. i marked down on style because it is essentially a ripoff of Warioware, but it's still a solid flash which takes the concept in whole new ways.

does this game do anything?

it starts off good, looks good, and then when one actually gets to the GAME, it flops. i talk to otacon, wander around in the brush, and then... nothing. theres nothing there. nothing ANYWHERE. not even any enemies or anything. just snake shooting bullets at trees. this woulda been good if you'd finished it, or at least made, like, PART of a level.

interesting concept

as a chemistry student, the combination of acidity with flash gaming intrigues me. other than that, its a fairly standard game.

i wish i could make cool effect like that. maybe then i'd be a flash producer and all the ladies would love me.
